Manage Pain
Have you had a chronic pain for as long as you can remember?
Are you experiencing pain following an injury?
Do you want to gain more control over the pain you’re feeling?
Chronic (or persistent) pain can be experienced as burning, throbbing or aching. This type of pain is not normally specific and can occur some time after an injury.
Acute pain feels sharper and more specific than chronic pain. This type is felt straight after an injury.
Neurological pain (or neuralgia) is caused by messages from the brain telling the muscles to activate. This can cause muscle spasms which can worsen pain.
At Whitaker Hypnotherapy, we work on calming the mind, reducing the sensations of pain, and giving you more control of the uncomfortable feelings you’re experiencing.
